Industrial Silencers

Industrial Silencers are responsible for strongly reducing the airborne sound that spreads through pipes without significantly impeding the conduction of flowing media. They are particularly used in the following cases:

To reduce sound propagation in the pipe systems of technical air-based equipment
To reduce the radiation of sound from turbo-machines into the direct surroundings (ventilators, compressors, etc.)
To damp openings, e.g. for the aeration and ventilation of sound protection covers
To damp transportation openings etc.

These silencers are manufactured from an extremely wide range of materials such as ferritic and austenitic stainless steel, aluminium, plastic, special materials and mild steel.

Type series: Absorption Industrial Silencers (SD), choke SD, crank SD, resonance cavity SD, intake SD, blow-off SD, twist SD, waste gas SD, and reflection SD.

Areas of application: Exhaust pipes, tank draining, exhaust-steam pipes, boilers, chimneys, compressors, pumps, safety valves, combustion engines and compressors.
